The answer (at least to the current price being offered by MS) is NO! Here’s the email.
The most interesting part about the letter is that the ‘chief yahoo’ does not seem to believe in using capital letters! Lol … could this be a REALLY far out way of making the point that “Yahoo does not need any capital(s) “?
I know, I know … SAD joke. It’s probably just a malfunctioning shift key.
UPDATE: There’s a new letter from Jerry Yang to shareholders and this time the shift key seems to be working!
